10 YEARS IN BUSINESS

SWANSEA COMMERCIAL CLEANING FIRM CELEBRATES 10 YEARS IN BUSINESS
An award-winning, commercial cleaning franchise is celebrating its tenth year in operation this April. After leaving a job in the NHS 10 years ago, business owner Jayne Gethin purchased the franchise license and has grown the company into a £600,000 business, employing over 110 staff.

Picture 003Now based in Llandarcy, the company started from Jayne’s, and her husband Paul’s, spare room at their home in Neath in 2005 but has grown to clean some of South West Wales’ most famous properties, including the home of Swansea City, The Liberty Stadium.

Jayne said: “We are very pleased to reach our 10th anniversary and believe our growth and success has come from the amount of time and dedication that we invest in developing and training our staff, which is demonstrated by the awards and recognition we have received. We have grown year-on-year and will hopefully continue to do so. I would like to thank our dedicated members of staff and our loyal customers for their support, and we look forward to working with them over the next 10 years.”
ServiceMaster Clean Contract Services Swansea & South West Wales was a runner-up in the national, British Franchise Association awards in 2014; winner of the Skills and Development Award from the South Wales Chamber of Commerce in 2013 and achieved no less than three franchise awards from franchisor, ServiceMaster Limited, in its 10 year history.

In late 2014, Jayne and Paul’s son, Jonathan, joined the company as business development manager, along with a second contract’s manager and two new area supervisors in order to support and allow growth over forthcoming years.
