Stop The Spread Of Office Germs – Office Cleaning

Office cleaning and germ-fighting has always been a huge priority in offices to avoid the spread of sickness.

Now more than ever, office cleaning has never been so important during the Coronavirus pandemic. Ultimately, the goal here is to keep our staff and clients safe, avoid time-off and keep everyone involved healthy. There, of course, is the added bonus of having an aesthetically pleasing workplace.

Here are some of our top tips on how you can stop the spread of germs through good, thorough office cleaning.

Efficient Hand Washing

Always be sure all of your staff are washing their hands frequently and hand sanitising. Particularly after touching high traffic areas such as door handles and light switches.

When you wash your hands, make sure it is for at least 20 seconds, using warm water and including the wrists.

When it comes to drying your hands, always be sure to use disposable paper towels or air dryers as ordinary towels can harbour a lot of bad bacteria.

Use Anti-bacterial products

Always sanitise areas, particularly communal areas, or items once they have been in use. For example, kettles, kitchen surfaces, office phones, and board room items. Be sure to use an antibacterial product such as wipes or a spray to get rid of as many germs and bacteria as possible.

Ventilation

Keep windows open where you can, germs thrive in warmth so by opening our windows we are keeping the air as fresh and clean as possible as well as avoiding the spread of germs as much as possible.

We ultimately will never completely eradicate germs, they are here to stay. But by taking some of these steps we can limit the spread as much as possible resulting in a happy and healthy workplace.
