ServiceMaster Swansea Shortlisted for an Award

ServiceMaster Clean Swansea & South West Wales has been shortlisted for the 2016 Swansea Bay Business Life & South Wales Evening Post, Women in Business Awards, for the Family Business of the Year category.

The award ceremony is due to take place in the Marriott Hotel, Maritime Quarter, Swansea on October 7th which comprises of 10 categories and an overall woman of the year 2016 award.

The categories include:

  • Family Business of the Year (in which ServiceMaster, Swansea are shortlisted for)
  • Mentor of the Year
  • Rising Star of the Year
  • Professional Woman of the Year
  • New Business/Start up of the Year
  • Innovation in Business
  • Growth and Expansion Award
  • Ambassador
  • Life Time Achievement Award
  • Green Award
  • And the overall Woman of the Year 2016

Each category has three women shortlisted for each and was selected by a panel of five judges. The judges consist of Jill Burgess who is an International Travel Expert and Swansea Businesswoman; Alex Shufflebottom from Shufflebottom Ltd and the winner of Woman of the Year 2015; Hayley Davies who is the CEO and Director of JCP Solicitors and President of the Swansea Bay Business Club; Lisa Cameron who is the Commercial Director of South West Wales Media; and last but not least Chris Campbell who is the Swansea Bay Business Life Editor.

Jayne Gethin (Managing Director for ServiceMaster Clean, Swansea & South West Wales) whom is the person shortlisted for the Family Business of the Year 2016 said “I am delighted to be shortlisted for this award, especially as it is the Family Business of the Year category. My son Jonathan and daughter Lianne both work directly within the business and has helped it grow and thrive greatly over the last two years. It is a pleasure to work so closely with family especially as we are all so close. There are some great names and businesses shortlisted within these awards so I am really looking forward to meeting everyone. I am sure it will be a great event on October the 7th.”

Jayne and ServiceMaster will compete against Annabel Denty from Coakley-Greene and Juliet Luporini from Kardomah Café for the Family Business of the Year 2016
